Medieval II Total War Turkish Chronicles 33

Here is the reason why I lost back Kiev in the first place. At the episode 28 I knew the Mongol's King was in the City of Caffa. I didn't troops to defend Kiev after the episode 28 and sent my victorious army directly to Caffa. This way I was sure to kill the king of the Mongols. The battle of the episode 32 was a siege to make sure the strong Mongol Army in Kiev would not come to save the Mongols King.

This battle was, as you can see by the result, hard fight since the King was 9 star of Command, and 1 gold level of experience. I had to be careful when entering and I was lucky to actually to be able to surround them.

Here was the death of the last powerful Mongol general.

in BI the sanassid generals are also very powerfull, i attacked with 500 of my spearmen(ERE)some of them armored some not. Against a 1 silver expierienced sanassid (40 men) general, and i lost!!! One of the weaker spearmen began to run and then they all ran away! Now i'm able to train archer cav, already killed one with your assasination technique :D

Nice!I guess once you have calvary surronded by spearmen there is no hope!

By the way, How many soldiers does it take to secure the amount of regions you control and still be the most powerful offensive force in the campaign?!

How many soldiers do you have in all?!

well it's doesn't take that much troop to secure that empire. in general I leave one family member per city, or 2 unit of spearman.

after a quick count in all my empire I have 25841 troops. it cost me 55612 florin of upkeep.

Hi Attila! I just checked the city under siege final battle footage. You'll find the footage at gamespot site, click pc, then videos, then gamespot and the city under siege should be shown at the latest videos.

Truly gruesome battles with timurids against england defending. I will not spoil your fun by telling who won, but I'd like to point out some important details:

-English had 1 unit of longbowmen, but neither of the players actually deployed the important stakes to protect the narrow city streets. The attackers, timurids had huge amounts of tough knights at their disposal.

-the commetator never really told us whose general had died; they should have checked out the "dead general" info box right away, because that's an important event on the battlefield.

-They should have had more zooming and less far away exploring with the camera.

-elephants were used rather inefficently.

-defending english had 1 catapult, but I think they should have used it to literally block a street leading to city centre, because 2 catapults aren't gonna make much of a difference with shooting. If set correctly on a street, they will block a cavalry charge and allow cheaper spearmen to butcher them.
