Medieval II Total War Turkish Chronicles 27 Clearing the way

After the previous siege, The Mongols are now very weak on the Eastern front. So I took my defending troop, and sent them to attack the remaining army of the Mongols on the East. So by this battle I now have the clear path to take back what I gave the Mongols. The only remaining Mongols after that will be huge army around Kiev, and some Army on the East that try to conquer the south, but they will be well welcome.

hey, im a pretty acomplished intermediate of the total war games, but this is a pretty noob question, what is the key-combination to be able to view multiple units dot point positions, it might have been control but i cant remember.

Attila, you too seem to use some perverted armies :D
you have more horsearchers than mongols themselves. But I do that too, fight fire with fire or something like that.

I didn't really get a good picture of the polish faction even by watching your chronicles, I really got interested in them, but how would you rate them? The polish nobles and polish guard sound awesome atleast.

You could do a hungarian or a byzantine chronicle after this.
Hungarians have cool faction colours, and you get rid of their stupid santa hats with armour upgrades. Croatian axemen, royal banderum, and battlefield assassins are cool units. :D

I'll buy a new comp on friday or saturday, so I might start a campaign chronicle myself, stay tuned :D

Well polish are cool... but they have weird units, I wasn't a big fan of them, but they are sure challenging, that's what make them interesting to me.

If you make a chronicles I could alway put those video on the blog.
Would be nice if sometime this blog had different style of player, mine is getting old =)

hmm i had some problem with the site yesterday. But anyway i think that you're very lucky that the turkisch speciality is archer cav. I mean if you had normal cav, you had to rush in their extremely expierenced army and lost a lot of men.

yeah, fighting in melee against mongols is would have been a pain...

hey Attila, I have been watching your videos for a while, you seem like you know how to play the game well...very impressive, I know how to do the strategy for the actual game, but I like to simulate battles because I usually lose, what should I do? I mean the first Total War, I could own any battle, but in this one, the battles are considerably harder for me, and thanks

Attila said...

hmm, what you mean "I like to simulate"

As for how to get better, hmm well I think watching me playing and reading my comment on the blog should give you many tips that bring you to victory.

It's hard to give you advise without more information on how you play =)

hmm, well playing with the auto battle is easier then it was in earlier total war in fact. I think what is important is to have a good general, make night attack, and have unit with high stats. This way you will alway win in auto battle... But of course, sometime it's better to lead the battle personnaly

Ok, probably someone has asked this alredy, but, why don't you to defeat the entire golden horde in a series of massive battles? That's a real challenge for warmongers! And, besides, they are NOT timurids! stupid elphants that make my game crash :(

Attila said...

well, huge battle require huge army, and huge armies require a lot of money. I don't have that money since I also make war in europe. So couple of small battle are more effective in my case

Baltazar said...

try to play your game in a "mongol invasions mode" that way you won't be lacking armies. Personally i love to fight the invasions, the rest of the game is kinda boring (too easy)

Attila said...

yep, i agree, but mongols lag, and fighting all of them would not allow me to record videos. So destroying them army by army allow me to record the gameplay and share it. When i get under siege or fight 6 army at the same time i can't record since my computer can't run that much troop and record it.

So the middle choice is the best. Video or not, this is the question! ;)

Nice one, how are you doing on conquering the rest of europe? I can't tell from the small map in the corner of the campaign screen.
If you do another chronicles after this, please could you do a western european faction, like spain or HRE.

Attila said...

well I conquer europe as I fight mongols in fact, It a kind of guerrilla war those day with milan and danish
