Medieval II Total War Turkish Chronicles 25
This episode is a victory against the Mongols, by wasting the Mongols against my forts, the Mongols now opened the way for so that I take back the east without any important resistance since the rest of them were more concentrated around Kiev instead of the far East.
For those who were a little doubtful because of my many defeats, note that from this point in the campaign, it's more then likely there won't be too many defeat anymore until I attack the region of Kiev. This region will probably be the last stand of the Mongols. (In a couple of videos (I guess)).

you seem like a student of military history. What would you have done against the real mongols
and
Will you ever play with your own objectives in mind not the usual long and short campaigns given by the game
nice battle. what kind of units were those?
JHI= Janissary Heavy Infantry. Do you have them now.
well lucien buchard ( intimidant comme choix de nom =)
I was a student in history, so I have a lot of "general" knowledge about war and I also have 15 years of experience as a gamer so all that help a little. ;)
As for how I would have fight the Mongols, it's hard to say... Mongols had many technologically advantage over Europe. They were also a huge empire from china to most of Russia, so if you won a battle you would have sure get an other army to fight later... Europe was also very divised in those days, far more then medieval II make it seem. Europe also had many problem of over population leading to really bad condition overall and predisposing it to the black plague.
Mongols also had a very different way to see the war than European.
Mongols had conquer china, and in middle age china was by far the strongest empire in the world. So I don't think Mongols could have been stoped easily by any European "faction" unless all European united to fight those Mongols.
Maybe if the Mongols didn't stopped the expansion because of intern problem, Europe would have united against them to save Christianity... But heavy armors is of little use against cavalry archers...
So I guess the only way to stop those Mongols would have been to ambush them, trap them, send spy to divide them, assassinate leaders to divide the successor of the "clans" and more then all, learn from them.
those unit are janissary militia
Dear Attila:
Have you ever played the game until the end(year 1580)??
What happens afterwards??
And I wish to know a trhing;
In the game,do they menction something about the protestant reformationof 1517???
And finally;what religion do the Aztecs have?
Merci.
I never actualy played until the end of the time line of medieval. I think the max time I did was probably 1456... something like that.
(in general I get bored when the Mongols appear...so it's not that exiting for me to make those Mongols chronicles, but since every one enjoy, lets do it =)
I don't know if the protestant "event" happen.
And the aztect are "pagan" I guess they didn't invested too much time into them since they are not playable by default in the game.
heh, well attila's tactics would never pass in the real world, even back then, I dont think men were that expendable back then =p
How many lives have u lost just "weakening" their armies?
hehe, good point yoeeb =)
Well I probably lost arround 3000, but over all I will kill far more.
Great job Attila. I think a real challenge for you would be to play as the Scotts, as they start off so small. I would also just like to see the Scotts conquer Europe, but that's just personal preference. So if you do another Chronicles, please consider the Scotts.
yeah scott seem interesting at the beginning but judging by how my friend was playing them, over time they become easy with those noble pikeman
thought wat will happen if the mongols flanked you??...just asking cause i usually flank my enemies if i have so many horses...
i either would have lose, or may have win due to my formation, the main challenge being to fight without the catapult
