Rome Total War German Chronicles 28 Gaining ground from Romans



Here is a battle I did as soon as I could on the strategic level. By engaging Romans as soon as possible in Gaul I was making sure they would not get stronger. So it was a kind of preventive strike.

On the Tactical level, you might notice the fact that I charge the dogs right at the start with my cavalry. Cavalry is the best weapon against dogs. Dogs have a strong attack but 0 defences that mean that as soon as something attacks a dog, ths dog dies. So when you engage dogs make sure you are the one attacking them. Because if you stay on the defence you might win but with heavy loss.
