I suppose I should answer your question, though.

I suggest.... Sicily!

Yeah Sicily seem interesting, Danish would also seem attractive to me "viking attack!"

I never start as a pussy country though. That is for later once I have the game down.

England & Almohads are fun too.

You could start Danes or Italy IMO.

Pussy Country = Any nation which is significantly weaker than the average major nations.

So for Rome Total War, Original Un-Modded edition;

Major Nations: Romans, Carthage, Parthia, Gaul, Seleucids, Egypt

Pussy Nations: Germany, Britons, Iberia, Macedon, Greeks (b/c of geography, not actual strength), Thrace, Sarmatians, Pontus, Armenia, Numidia, Dacia

I say France or England all the way...you likeCavalry alot though so France would probably be one of your best

Well France really have good looking units. They look very good in the demo. England have longbow... but i'm not really the kind of player that use bows...

i think your mind is set on the france
well i know who im going as the english (partly cos i am english) i think they would be good for expand being at the edge of the map, if would be harder for Fraction like France to invade me all you have to worry about is the scots. iam the sort of play who likes using arches to wear the enermy down before they can get to my front line
